DANIELLA BARNES
Daniella’s practice focuses on the defense
of insurers and their insureds in automobile tort, general liability,
premises liability and other negligence matters. Prior to joining
Litchfield Cavo LLP, Daniella worked in a general practice firm
with a focus on automobile tort defense. She has more than eight
years experience working with self-insureds, insurance companies,
and their insureds. Daniella has successfully argued motions,
conducted trials and drafted pleadings including complaints, motions,
supporting briefs and appellate briefs. She has argued before
the Appeals Court of Massachusetts. Daniella also has experience
in criminal, domestic relations, estate planning, and probate
matters.
Daniella received a Rhodes Scholarship nomination
during her senior year of college. While in law school she represented
criminal defendants in misdemeanor cases in the City of Boston,
as a participant in the Suffolk Defenders Clinical Program.
