NICHOLAS
D. BUTOVICH
Nicholas D. Butovich received his B.A. (1996),
summa cum laude,
from Boston College, where he completed the honors program, received
the Patrick J. Durcan, SJ, Award for excellence in history and was
elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. His J.D. (2001) is
from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school,
Mr. Butovich served as the editor-in-chief of the
Forum of International
Law, was a member of the Dean’s List and received CALI
awards in jurisprudence and constitutional history. After law school,
Mr. Butovich completed his judicial clerkship with the Honorable
Sophia H. Hall, Chancery Division, Circuit Court of Cook County,
Illinois. He is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and U.S. District
Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Butovich focuses his practice in the areas of insurance coverage,
insurance defense and general commercial litigation. He has experience
in the nationwide handling of general and professional liability
claims on behalf of the U.S., London and Bermuda markets. He also
has experience analyzing healthcare provider risks from the underwriting
perspective.
