MICHAEL R. BYRNE
received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Amherst College in 1988, and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 1991. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Byrne concentrates his practice on insurance coverage disputes, general liability cases and appeals. He has handled dozens of appeals, and has argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court, as well as the First Circuit.
Mr. Byrne is the author of chapters in the Massachusetts Tort Law Manual (MCLE, 1999) and the Massachusetts District Court Civil Practice Manual (MCLE, 2005). His article on "Preparing and Arguing Pretrial Dispositive Motions" was selected for the 2000 edition of The Best of MBA-CLE.
