MICHAEL R. BYRNE
Mike’s practice focuses on insurance
coverage matters, appeals and general civil litigation. He has
successfully briefed and argued dozens of appeals, including cases
before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court,
as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to
insurance coverage matters, he has experience in handling a variety
of executive, professional and employers liability claims (including
insurance agents and brokers and real estate brokers), premises
liability claims, and environmental liability claims.
Mike has spoken at several MBA-CLE seminars
and authored chapters in the Massachusetts Tort Law Manual
(MCLE, 1999) and the Massachusetts District Court Civil Practice
Manual (MCLE, 2005). His article on "Preparing and Arguing
Pretrial Dispositive Motions" was selected for the 2000 edition
of The Best of MBA-CLE.
