ROBERT
L. CIOCIOLA
received his undergraduate degree in 1977 from the University of
Delaware and his law degree in 1980 from Harvard Law School.
He is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the
First, Third and Seventh Circuits of the United States Courts of
Appeal, the United States District Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts,
Maine and Delaware, the Supreme Judicial Court of the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts, the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware, and
the Supreme Judicial Court of the State of Maine.
In addition to handling trials and appeals before the federal and
state courts of Massachusetts, Delaware, New Hampshire, Illinois,
Pennsylvania, Maine, Rhode Island and Ohio, he has conducted administrative,
arbitration and mediation proceedings and supervised cases in ten
other states, including California, Texas, Florida, Minnesota, North
Carolina and New York.
Mr. Ciociola has served as a faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing
Legal Education programs and has authored a chapter entitled "Minority
Liability for Breach of Fiduciary Duties in a Close Corporation"
published
in Business Torts within the Company, MCLE Books, Boston Massachusetts
(1998). Mr. Ciociola's practice has an emphasis on complex commercial
and
civil litigation.
