MICHAEL T. DROOGAN, JR.
Mike represents self-insured and insured clients in matters of commercial, auto, and general liability. Additionally, over his career, he has tried cases that include commercial liability, complex product liability matters, executive and professional liability, including the defense of doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases, automobile negligence, and premises liability. His clients include automobile and tractor-trailer manufacturers and the manufacturers of a variety of products from ice machines to sump pumps, as well as large retailers (consumer products, commercial products and petroleum) and an international telecommunications company.
Mike has been involved in a variety of accident investigations and accident reconstructions during his defense practice, and as a result of this experience, he is often called upon to counsel his clients on risk management/accident avoidance and strategies concerning investigation and defense of accidents. Apart from litigation, he also frequently handles matters involving business acquisitions and start-ups, employment contracts, labor disputes, estate planning, and real estate transactions. Mike often serves as an arbitrator in civil disputes and also serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the compulsory settlement conference program in Philadelphia.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, and their Labrador retriever. He is an avid skier and golfer. Mike also coaches youth football and softball, and is an active member of his church, as well as being an accomplished writer of both fiction and non-fiction.
