MELINDA W. EBELHAR
received her bachelor's degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, and obtained her juris doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.
Ms. Ebelhar is a senior litigator with extensive experience in insurance coverage analysis and litigation, having served in the litigation section of the General Counsel's office of a national insurance company where she represented the company in declaratory relief, contribution/subrogation, and "bad faith" actions. She has significant experience with complex commercial, toxic tort, and construction defect litigation, and an interest in copyright and other intellectual property matters. Ms. Ebelhar is admitted to practice in California and New York, all federal courts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a frequent practitioner in the state and federal appellate courts, and has served as a mediator for California's Second District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles as well as judge pro tem for the Los Angeles County Superior Court. She has recently joined the faculty of Glendale University College of Law as an adjunct professor, teaching Conflict of Laws.
