EDWARD M. FOGARTY, JR.
graduated cum laude from Boston College in 1981 with a BA in Philosophy and Political Science. He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1984 and has since worked in private practice, involved in many aspects of insurance defense litigation.
In almost twenty years of litigation, the broad spectrum of his practice areas include general liability, products liability, professional and executive liability, malpractice, environmental/toxic tort litigation, civil rights, motor vehicle accidents, NY Construction/Labor law, premises liability, appellate work and coverage litigation.
Mr. Fogarty has tried numerous cases to verdict in both New York State and the Federal Courts. He is admitted to practice in the New York State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and he is a member of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice section of the American Bar Association.
