JEANNINE S. GILLERAN
For more than fifteen years, Jeannine has
successfully defended clients in a variety of tort and civil rights
cases in both federal and state courts. Her extensive experience
includes defending police and other municipal officers who have
been sued for civil rights violations; trucking, ambulance, and
limousine companies who have been sued for negligence; and representing
doctors and nurses in medical malpractice cases. She has also
represented methadone clinics and nursing homes in malpractice
cases.
In addition to her significant jury trial
experience, Jeannine has spoken to various organizations regarding
defensive deposition tactics, police report writing, and tort
immunity. Jeannine prides herself on her ability to effectively
communicate with clients, formulate a case strategy, and handle
a case from discovery through trial.
Jeannine is also active in community service organizations and
has served as a volunteer for Holy Family Scholars and as a wish
granter for Make-A-Wish of Northern Illinois.
