DANIEL G. LITCHFIELD
received his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Drake University in 1980 and his law degree from the University of Chicago in 1983. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Pennsylvania.
He has handled cases in the state or federal courts in nineteen states. He is a member of the Bar of the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, Central District of Illinois, Southern District of Illinois, District of Colorado, District of Nebraska, the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Western District of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Eighth Circuit, and the Federal Circuit. Mr. Litchfield co-authored The Polluters' Web: The Pollution Exclusion and the Question of Deception, CPCU Journal, June 1994 and Corporate Relationships and Coverage, Coverage, Volume 8, Number 6, November/December, 1998. He authored Property Damage Update: Pollution Exclusion, Coverage, Volume 9, Number 2, March/April, 1999. Mr. Litchfield's practice includes emphasis on complex civil litigation, including commercial and insurance litigation.
