RICHARD A. LORD, JR.
received his undergraduate degree from The University of Connecticut
in 1996 and his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of
Law in 2000. While in law school, Rich served as Associate Editor
of the school’s Law Review and also was Vice President of
the Mock Trial Society. He also competed in various national mock
trial competitions and was a member of the 1999 Regional Student
Trial Advocacy Championship Team which went on to compete in the
National Finals in New Orleans, Louisiana that same year.
Rich is currently a member of the Connecticut Bar Association
and has litigated cases before the Federal and State Courts of
Connecticut. Moreover, he has also been admitted to practice pro
hac vice before the Federal District Court in the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts.
Rich’s practice has focused mainly in the area of insurance
defense litigation, particularly legal malpractice, professional
liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist benefits, premises
and automobile personal injury actions. He is a resident in Litchfield
Cavo’s Connecticut office.
