JOHN A. MERCER, JR.
obtained a double major in political science and history from
Rutgers College in 1990. Mr. Mercer also received a Masters Degree
in Governmental Administration from the Fels Center of Government
at the University of Pennsylvania in 1993 and his law degree from
Rutgers School of Law - Camden in January 1994. He is admitted
to practice in the State of New Jersey; the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey;
and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Mercer has represented individuals, corporations and governmental
entities in many areas of commercial and personal lines, litigation,
including insurance defense, construction, automobile, toxic tort
litigation, malpractice and civil rights defense. Mr. Mercer has
also worked as a municipal prosecutor for several towns in New
Jersey.
