HOPE G. NIGHTINGALE
received her undergraduate degree with honors from Grinnell College
in 1976, and her law degree from the University of Chicago School
of Law in 1981. She is a member of the bar of Illinois and the
United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois,
and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of
Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Ms. Nightingale has appeared before numerous other courts pro
hac vice. She is a member of the American Bar Association Sections
of Litigation and Tort and Insurance Practice, including the Insurance
Coverage Litigation Committees of both sections.
Ms. Nightingale's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.
She represented the Insurance Services Office, Inc. for over ten
years, and has extensive knowledge of CGL drafting and regulatory
history.
For the last ten years, her primary areas of experience have
included insurance coverage advice and litigation (CGL and first
party lines); direct defense of insureds, primarily employment
discrimination and related matters, accountant malpractice, personal
injury, and business tort defense), and other general litigation
matters.
