Anh Nguyen

Anh’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation matters, including product liability, insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance coverage.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo, Anh clerked for the Honorable Jeff Bohm of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. During her clerkship, Anh spent substantial time drafting opinions, orders, and judgments in various bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings involving federal and state law issues, including the Texas Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act, class actions, division of community property, and exculpatory clauses in Chapter 11 plans.

Before starting her judicial clerkship, Anh practiced bankruptcy law at a multi-state law firm where she represented large and small financial institutions in all aspects of bankruptcy. During this time, she prepared motions, claims, and notices with regard to consumer bankruptcy cases and appeared on behalf of these financial institutions in bankruptcy courts.

While in law school, Anh served as a judicial intern to U.S. District Judge Gray H. Miller of the Southern District of Texas and Justice John Anderson of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. She also interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and clerked for a boutique litigation firm that specializes in white collar crime defense.
