Bethany has more than 15 years of experience defending employers in employment litigation, including claims involving age, sex, national origin or disability discriminations, wage violations, wrongful termination and retaliations in state and federal court and before local government agencies. She represents employers before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights where she has successfully defeated probable cause determinations.

Bethany’s practice includes representing clients in complex litigation matters focusing on professional liability defense, premises and general liability, coverage disputes and bad faith claims. She has significant experience in products liability, business litigation, toxic torts and automobile torts. Bethany regularly represents veterinarians before state licensing and disciplinary boards as well as in state and federal court.

In addition to her legal practice, Bethany serves as Litchfield Cavo LLP’s Assistant Managing Partner, is involved in COVID-19 decision-making as it pertains to employment issues, and also is a member of the Firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
