Carolyn Stevens Jensen
Carolyn’s practice emphasizes all aspects of insurance defense. Having practiced for more than 23 years, Carolyn has extensive experience defending a wide variety of claims. She has defended governmental entities in civil rights claims; contractors and business owners in construction defect and job site injury claims; insurance carries in bad faith claims; and surgery centers, long term care facilities, physicians and mid-level providers and nurses in medical malpractice claims. Carolyn has represented the Utah Medical Insurance Association in State and Federal court matters and advises one of the region’s largest hospital networks on legal/risk management issues. She has briefed and argued healthcare, personal injury, insurance bad faith in personal injury, property damage, and motor vehicle accident defense. Carolyn served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Public Law and as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Judith M. Billings of the Utah Court of Appeals from 1992 to 1994.
