Daniel P. Hendrix

Daniel's practice is focused on insurance defense, with an emphasis on premises liability cases in defense of owners and managers of multi-family housing (apartment) complexes against negligent security, slip-and-fall, toxic tort, and pest claims.  He has also defended numerous taxi drivers in automotive liability cases.  Daniel has also been involved in contract dispute cases and successfully enforced restrictive covenants in employment agreements and commercial leases, as well as litigated property easement agreements as part of his general commercial litigation practice.  He has represented commercial landlords in cases to enforce leases and initiate dispossessory proceedings against tenants and also has extensive experience representing businesses in eminent domain litigation. In the past he has also represented various medical facilities and other Georgia employers in workers’ compensation disputes.

As a part of his representation of businesses, Daniel has drafted and reviewed a panoply of agreements and contracts, including commercial leases, business purchase and sale contracts, LLC operating agreements, employment agreements (that include non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality provisions) and other commercial contracts.
