Inessa S. Goodman
Currently, Inessa focuses her practice on asbestos cases as well as insurance defense and general liability.
Directly after law school, she worked as a University of Illinois College of Law Fellow with the City of Chicago's Legal Investigations and Prosecutions Department, where she represented Chicago in traffic matters. After her fellowship, she worked as a consultant counsel for McDonald's Corporation.
While in law school, Inessa worked in the university's Elder Financial Justice Clinic under an Illinois Supreme Court 711 license, allowing her to practice under the Clinic's supervisor. She represented elderly, financially disadvantaged, and exploited clients in consumer fraud and breach of contract matters, including successfully representing a client in a two day civil trial.
Inessa also externed for the Honorable Michael P. McCuskey in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and for the Illinois Attorney General, East Central Regional Office, in Urbana.
Inessa serves as a member of the Hope Works' Chicago Associate Board, an organization dedicated to finding solutions to combat unemployment in Southside Chicago neighborhoods.
