Jason Watson

Jason Watson has extensive civil litigation experience, specializing in defending hospitals, physicians, dentists, and oral surgeons against professional malpractice claims. He has worked closely with risk managers from a variety of healthcare facilities, including large hospitals, to litigate patient claims and resolve disputes. Jason has successfully tried cases to verdict, obtained dismissal of claims, and negotiated favorable settlements in matters ranging from permanent disability to wrongful death, including catastrophic medical malpractice and auto collision cases.
Jason has assisted and advised national healthcare corporations on credentialing healthcare providers, risk management, policies and procedures, and the proper medico-legal documentation of medical care. He has also advised clients on a variety of legal issues that arise in the medical field: patients’ end-of-life rights, newborn child custody disputes, and the appropriate role of healthcare providers in assisting law enforcement. Jason has represented and advised physicians, oral surgeons, and other healthcare providers in administrative proceedings related to professional licensure and patient complaints.
