Joseph S. Bussiere

Joe practices in the areas of general tort and employment litigation.  Specifically, he defends individuals and corporate entities in a variety of personal injury, professional liability, and wrongful death claims.  Joe’s litigation experience also includes representing employers in state and federal court as well as before administrative agencies, in a variety of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage claims from single-plaintiff to collective/class action matters.  He handles matters from pre-suit claims through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and appeals when necessary.

While in law school, Joe served as a law clerk for a major commercial liability insurance carrier, where he assisted in drafting numerous successful motions for summary judgment and appellate briefs.  Joe also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Kenneth Fishman, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court
