Kathleen J. Collins

Kathleen’s practice draws on an extensive background in complex commercial litigation involving employment, professional malpractice, E&O/D&O, commercial and residential construction, products liability, consumer fraud, mass toxic tort, general liability, business litigation, first-party property, personal injury, workers' compensation defense, trucking litigation, commercial disputes, and environmental matters.  She has experience with international treaties in relation to her defense of multinational corporations. Her past experience includes work in the defense of non-profit and for-profit employers in disability and discrimination matters, consumer fraud actions, information technology, complex environmental contamination matters, complex construction matters,  and the defense of intellectual property and information technology (IT) claims. She has successfully defended numerous insured and self-insured entities before New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Illinois administrative, state and federal courts as well as in mediation and arbitration forums.   Kathleen has been involved in several high profile matters ranging from fatalities to defending against a religious discrimination claim which was monitored by national and international groups. 

Kathleen has lectured on computer use and technology in the workplace, compliance solutions and employment law. In addition, Kathleen has taught courses on Law and the Internet, Business Law, Civil Procedure, and Contracts.
