Kindu A. Walker

Kindu concentrates his litigation practice in the areas of premises, product, and governmental liability, and automotive and commercial litigation.  He has significant litigation and trial experience successfully defending corporations, insurers, local and state authorities, banks, credit unions, and individuals in complex litigation, mediation, and pre-litigation matters stemming from negligence, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, Fair Debt Collection Practices, lender liability, toxic tort, civil rights, and first-party insurance claims and litigation.  In addition, he advises clients on training and educating managers and employees on litigation trends, mitigating risk, and avoiding litigation, along with other legal issues they may face.

Kindu is a NFLPA contract advisor.  He received his football certification and athlete management training under Joel Corry, a former NBA and NFL agent.  Kindu’s training includes agent regulations and player association legalities, contract negotiation, endorsements, sponsorships, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marketing and recruiting.

Kindu has also been an invited speaker at numerous seminars on topics involving premises liability, product liability, and intentional torts, among other areas of law. After completing law school, he clerked for the Honorable Susan H. Winfield and the Honorable John M. Mott of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Kindu was included in Georgia's Super Lawyers  as a Rising Star from 2009-2013.  He was honored by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite/Most Effective Lawyers in 2009 and 2010.  Kindu was also honored as one of 40 lawyers state-wide to participate in The Leadership Academy Program by the State Bar of Georgia.
