Litchfield Cavo Attorney Wins Unanimous Verdict for Client in Premises Liability Case

Tory Taylor successfully defended longtime client,  G6 Hospitality (Motel 6) in a premises liability case in Hidalgo, Texas.  The Plaintiff claimed that uneven stairs caused him to trip and fall down the flight of stairs.  The fall resulted in a broken nose, deviated septum, fractured orbital lobe and fractured wrist.  The Plaintiff sought damages for pain and suffering, disfigurement and left-upper extremity impairment, asking for $700,000 in closing arguments.  The unanimous jury found that there was no defect and that the Plaintiff was 100% negligent for his own injuries.
