Louisiana Office Expands Practice with Addition of Three Attorneys

Litchfield Cavo LLP has expanded its practice in the southern region of the United States with the addition of three attorneys in its Louisiana office. Kevin Webb and Erin Lorio joined the Firm in April, followed by Brett Willie in May.

Kevin Webb, partner, is an experienced litigator licensed in Louisiana and Massachusetts whose practice includes environmental and toxic tort litigation claims involving asbestos and other toxic exposures such as silica, NORM, welding fumes, paint spray, and vinyl chloride. Kevin is actively engaged in asbestos litigation in Arkansas, California, Mississippi, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia. Kevin has defended trucking companies and manufacturers of janitorial supplies, pharmaceutical products, tools and respiratory protective devices.

Erin Lorio, counsel, brings more than 18 years’ experience in casualty defense and commercial litigation to the Firm. Erin has represented multi-national corporations, small business owners, and carriers throughout Louisiana in state and federal courts and has extensive experience advising small business startups, drafting operating and partnership agreements, and developing employment and other business.

Brett Willie, counsel, maintains an active civil litigation practice, focused primarily on the defense of environmental and toxic tort claims. He has extensive experience in a wide range of environmental and toxic tort arenas, including Legacy Oilfield Contamination, Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), asbestos defense and occupational noise-induced hearing loss litigation in both state and federal courts. Brett’s clients have included national and international oil & gas corporations and chemical manufacturers involved in extensive litigation throughout Louisiana. Brett also has extensive experience in insurance defense litigation and has represented both local and national clients in coverage disputes, matters involving premises liability and medical malpractice.
