As a civil defense attorney with Litchfield Cavo LLP, Dean routinely defends significant litigation matters in several jurisdictions. He applies his knowledge as a former personal injury attorney to his current areas of practice comprising business litigation, construction, products and non-medical professional liability. Dean has completed multiple arbitrations and jury trials and he also serves as an Arbitrator with the Mandatory Arbitration Program of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
While attending Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Dean clerked for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, Professional Licensing and Homeowner Protection Unit, and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, Consumer Fraud Bureau. During law school, he also served as an extern for The Honorable David A. Shaheed, Marion County Superior Court, Civil Division.
Dean’s interest in pursuing a legal career, however, first began when he was an undergraduate at Loyola University Chicago and served as an extern with the Juvenile Justice Bureau of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
