Stephen M. Cady

Stephen focuses his legal practice on representing businesses and individuals in trucking/motor vehicle litigation, construction liability, products liability and premises liability matters. He also handles toxic tort and catastrophic personal injury cases. Stephen has experience handling cases from inception to trial in state and federal court in Illinois and Missouri, and has appeared in numerous multidistrict litigation forums nationwide.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Stephen gained substantial experience as a civil litigator wherein he concentrated in the areas of insurance defense litigation including insurance coverage, medical malpractice, mass tort litigation and civil rights litigation.

While earning his law degree at the University of Missouri School of Law, Stephen was an executive board member of the Journal of Environmental and Sustainability Law and managed a staff of editors and writers. He also authored an article analyzing emerging case law related to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act.
