David focuses his practice on general liability defense, primarily in the area of catastrophic construction accidents representing contractors and property owners. He has investigated multiple construction accidents, including two accidents involving the collapse of construction cranes. David has also represented hospitals and other care facilities in the defense of medical malpractice and medical device products liability matters, as well as national retailers in products liability matters.
Before returning to the New York area in 2008, David practiced law in Detroit, Michigan for 10 years where he was an active member of the defense bar. Following law school, David was nominated to the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan and also served as the President of the Latin-American Bar Activities Section of the State Bar of Michigan. While in law school, David worked for the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit in their Immigration Clinic.
