Erika focuses her practice on defending employers/carriers against workers’ compensation claims. While attending St. Thomas University School of Law, Erika served as an intern and law clerk for the Florida Office of the Attorney General. She assisted in preparing an appellate brief that was selected to come before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit oral arguments. Erika also participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program while in law school, preparing taxes for low-income families in the Miami community. She also worked as a research assistant and examined matters related to the Florida Constitution.
