David’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation including commercial disputes, product liability, professional and executive liability, employment law and environmental litigation. David’s practice also includes the representation of automobile manufacturers and distributors in all facets of litigation, and also defends catastrophic personal injury claims and class action cases. David has substantial experience litigating First Amendment issues including those related to anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) motions. He has extensive trial and arbitration experience and has authored and argued dozens of appeals, writs and dispositive motions.
David’s diverse practice also includes the representation of insurers in complex coverage matters, including advice and litigation.
David became one of the founding partners of Litchfield Cavo LLP’s California office in 2007, and continues to handle state and federal cases throughout the country.
