Bria concentrates her practice on defending clients in insurance coverage, insurance litigation, business litigation and workers’ compensation matters. She brings a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry, with extensive experience in policy development, claims litigation, contract negotiations and regulatory compliance matters.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Bria litigated federal workers’ compensation claims before the U.S. Department of Labor and served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Workers’ Compensation Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She previously served as Assistant Legal Counsel for the Illinois Senate office where she gained experience in state-level policymaking and the legislative process. While in that role, Bria successfully drafted and passed legislation for the 103rd General Assembly, sharpening her ability to navigate the intersection of law and policy.
Bria’s representative experience includes defending major insurance carriers in high-stakes litigation, representing small businesses in commercial disputes, and advising insurers in administrative claims before federal and state agencies. She provides strategic counsel and litigation support across a range of complex insurance coverage matters.
