James concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense and civil litigation. He handles premises liability, motor vehicle liability and underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage claims. James has experience representing clients, including insureds and insurance carriers, throughout the litigation process, such as during motions hearings, depositions, mediations and other related events. Additionally, he has a background in preparing successful motions to open default, motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
Prior to earning his law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law, James attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. During law school, he was a member of the Wake Forest Journal of Business & Intellectual Property Law. Prior to graduation, James completed a judicial internship for a magistrate judge at the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
