Alexandria focuses her defense litigation practice on employment and labor law matters. She represents business clients throughout all phases of litigation and has experience participating in depositions and drafting pleadings, motions and supporting briefs. Immediately prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Alexandria practiced law at a defense litigation firm in Chicago where she represented insureds, contractors and tradespeople in actions alleging injuries or property damage.

Prior to practicing law, Alexandria was a law clerk at a boutique immigration firm where she handled employment management disputes, including administration of employer documentation obligations, employment-based visas for international transfer of personnel, and issues related to employment of specialized foreign national workers. Alexandria also has experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama in the Chancery Division at the Circuit Court of Cook County. Throughout her externship, she researched substantive and procedural issues, and assisted with courtroom proceedings. Alexandria also drafted and reviewed memoranda, decisions and orders on Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Dismiss.

While earning her law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Alexandria was editor-in-chief of the College’s Journal of International and Comparative Law. During this time she collaborated with the article review board, was involved in member recruitment, performed editorial reviews, supervised article publication, and managed the editorial calendar. She also served as liaison for the College’s administration with the student body.
