Kia focuses her practice primarily on motor vehicle accident and premises liability matters. She also has experience in personal injury defense, property damage and contract litigation. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Kia worked as an assistant public defender in Philadelphia, where she gained extensive litigation experience.
While a student at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, Kia served as the vice president of University of Massachusetts chapter’s of the National Black Law Students Association. Kia also participated in the University of Massachusetts School of Law’s Community Development Law Clinic where she assisted inner city organizations apply for nonprofit status.
