Matt focuses his practice primarily on insurance defense, general litigation claims, premises liability cases, automobile negligence and workers’ compensation defense matters. His experience includes managing all aspects of pre-trial litigation including defending and taking depositions. He has extensive experience handling arbitration hearings and arguing summary judgment motions.
Matt previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Kassell, J.S.C., of the New Jersey Superior Court. He also served as an extern in the Camden County Office of the Public Defender and a judicial intern at the Camden County Superior Courthouse.
- Successfully defended condominium associations from claims brought by residents for serious bodily injury.
- Obtained summary judgment in serious bodily injury claim against condominium association involving significant exposure to pain and suffering.
- Defended automobile dealerships in claims asserting consumer fraud and other serious violations; successfully removed said claims from New Jersey Superior Court.
- Participated in a lengthy internal employment investigation concerning claims of discrimination, defamation, safety issues and employer retaliation.
