Kyle focuses his law practice in the areas of mass and toxic torts, general liability and employment law, and has additional experience handling products liability claims. Kyle has represented a variety of manufacturing and industrial clients in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia state courts. He has experienced preparing effective pleadings, motions and briefs, and regularly attends depositions. He also is skilled at efficiently performing legal research in support of his litigation practice.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Kyle worked for two defense law firms located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he focused his regional practice primarily on mass and toxic tort litigation, in addition to general liability matters. During this time, he developed a wide range of experience representing a wide variety of clients throughout all phases of litigation. Kyle’s representative clients included manufacturers and suppliers of electrical equipment, pumps, valves and refractories, and contractors using similar types of equipment.
While attending University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Kyle worked as a law clerk at a personal injury law firm in Washington, Pennsylvania, performing legal research and assisting attorneys throughout the litigation process. Kyle also worked as a legal intern for APPRISE of Allegheny County, assisting the non-profit organization to help elderly and indigent individuals navigate major government programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
- Obtained a defense judgment in magistrate court on behalf of a real estate company client sued by a home buyer for alleged failure to disclose information under the Pennsylvania Uniform Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law (UPTCPL).
