Rob focuses his law practice primarily in defense of commercial property owners, tenants and retailers in premises liability actions. This includes handling a wide variety of claims, such as interior and exterior slip/trip and falls, building structural collapses, falling items and third-party assaults on premises. Rob has defended hundreds of premises liability actions on behalf of several well-known national retail establishments and one of the country’s largest charitable non-profit organizations.
Rob’s legal practice includes defending clients against claims for defamation, false arrest and false imprisonment. He also defends manufacturers against products liability claims, construction companies against a wide variety of claims, and employers in motor vehicle accident clams.
Rob has a long history of favorably resolving cases on behalf of clients in both state and federal courts by summary judgment, at trial to verdict or by settlement. He also has successfully handled numerous appeals at the state and federal appellate court level.
Practices
- Obtained a jury verdict on behalf of a pharmacy store chain operator after an HVAC technician fell from a ladder and sustained permanent injuries; following the eight-day trial, the jury returned a defense verdict for our client, and the co-defendant also was found not liable.
