Chelsea’s practice is focused on defending employment, insurance coverage and general liability disputes at the trial and appellate levels. She represents and advises commercial business owners, home and vehicle owners, insurance companies and medical professionals in a wide variety of litigation disputes. Chelsea has also represented businesses in trademark related disputes. In addition, she advises clients in business interruptions and contract disputes arising from of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chelsea has experience handling complex employment discrimination disputes before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO). She has appeared in the Superior Courts, United States District Court, and has drafted amicus curiae and appellate briefs within the Connecticut Appellate Court.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Chelsea was a judicial research clerk for judges in the State of Connecticut Superior Court. She also was a legal intern for the Connecticut state attorney’s office for Middlesex County and a judicial intern for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
