New York City Counsel to Join Panel for New York Law School Alumni Event
New York Counsel Dana M. Catanzaro will participate as a panelist in the upcoming virtual event, “New York Law School Alumni Leading Local Bar Associations”, being held Tuesday, October 5. During this program hosted by New York Law School, Dana will join 12 fellow alumni who lead local bar associations for a panel discussion. Law student and alumni participants will have the opportunity to speak with the panelists and learn how they can get involved.
New York Law School is an independent law school located in Tribeca at the center of New York City’s legal, government, financial and emerging tech centers. Founded in 1891, the School is one of the largest and oldest independent nonprofit law schools in the United States and operates under a charter granted by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. The school is fully approved by the American Bar Association through its Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. New York Law School’s curriculum is registered with and approved by the New York State Education Department.
Dana focuses her practice on the defense of construction accident and property damage claims. She has extensive experience handling negligence-based lawsuits, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and medical malpractice, and insurance matters. Dana also is a proud member of Litchfield Cavo’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. In addition to her law practice, Dana is the current president of the Columbian Lawyers Association, First Judicial Department; an active member of New York City Bar Association, City Bar Chorus Committee; National Organization of Italian American Women; Catholic Lawyers Guild of Kings County; Defense Association of New York and presently serves on the executive committee of the Lexington Democratic Club.
