While Jennifer focuses her practice on financial institutions, she also has experience as a research attorney at a Fortune 500, Illinois-based insurance company. While in-house, Jennifer counseled clients on applicable state and federal regulations and implications of implementing new internal processes. She also conducted research on nationwide home and auto insurance laws to identify and minimize potential risk of lawsuits and regulatory violations.
Jennifer has experience representing spouses and parents in divorce and child custody proceedings, including conducting legal research on evolving financial laws, assessing cases, drafting marital settlement agreements and parenting plans as well as representing clients in pre-trial conferences and negotiations. She has additional experience with high-volume debt collection cases, including representing clients in court, negotiating payment agreements, handling pleadings and arguing motions.
