Rachel handles New Jersey and Pennsylvania court cases at the administrative and appellate court levels. Rachel has more than eight years of experience representing employers in the area of workers’ compensation. She has defended cases on behalf of both private employers and large corporations, counties and municipalities, healthcare systems and teaching institutions, construction companies and manufacturers that are either insured or self-insured.
In addition to workers’ compensation, Rachel has experience handling employment law litigation in both state and federal courts, including in-house legal work. She previously assisted public and private employers with personnel issues, wage and hour disputes, discrimination complaints and investigations, policy drafting and implementation.
Rachel has provided trainings to employers and their staff on numerous legal topics, has experience presenting at conferences and providing private trainings to employers and insurance carriers on topics such as how to avoid common mistakes and problems in workers’ compensation law.
Practices
- Prevailed for staffing client after its employee claimed their pre-existing medical conditions were aggravated by a work accident, then collected workers’ compensation TTD and medical benefits; the Commonwealth determined that Claimant fully recovered and granted our Termination Petition and Employer Review Petition, enabling our client to seek Supersedeas Fund Recovery of more than $100,000.
