Sara J. Thompson

Sara specializes in general liability litigation, with a focus on trucking and transportation, premises liability and negligent security cases. Her representative experience includes counseling insurance carriers, businesses and individuals through all phases of litigation. Sara handles all aspects of her cases from pre-suit to trial, including conducting depositions, preparing for and attending mediations and arbitrations, as well as providing thorough legal research and drafting motions, such as Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions in Limine.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Sara honed her skills at a boutique insurance defense firm in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she handled motor vehicle negligence cases. She later practiced law at a larger defense firm in Tampa, Florida, where she broadened her premises liability and negligent security skills.
