Illinois Attorney Presents at 2021 Virtual Chicagoland Risk Forum
Litchfield Cavo LLP attorney Alexis E. Maimonis is presenting at the 2021 Chicagoland Risk Forum, The New Generation of Risk, during the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) Chicago Chapter Forum. This year, the event will take place on Wednesday, February 3, and will be held virtually.
Alexis’ presentation titled, “COVID-19’s Impact on Workers’ Compensation” will address changes to Workers’ Compensation laws that make it easier for workers who contract COVID-19 to obtain benefits, and best practices to defend potential claims that arise from teleworkers. Audience members include Chicagoland risk management professionals.
RIMS is a global nonprofit that offers networking, professional development and education opportunities to its members, including more than 10,000 risk management professionals in more than 120 countries. The Chicago RIMS Chapter offers its members direct connection to more than 400 Chicagoland Risk and Insurance professionals. It acquired the title of largest RIMS Chapter in the world in 2019-20.
