Nicole focuses her defense practice on insurance and general liability matters. She has experience with the litigation process from pleadings and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Nicole was a law clerk at a boutique Chicago defense law firm with a focus on civil rights matters. During this time she gained experience in legal research and drafting motions and memorandums. Immediately prior, Nicole clerked with the Cook County Public Defender’s Office, and previously at a personal injury law firm. At that time honed her legal skills by assisting with drafting pleadings and discovery documents, and attending depositions and mandatory arbitrations.
While earning her law degree at DePaul College of Law, Nicole served as President of the school’s Moot Court Honor Society where she drafted complex Supreme Court briefs and refined her oral advocacy skills. She competed in several national competitions, including The National Moot Court Competition, where her team received an award for Regional Best Brief and advanced to the semifinals.
