Sheila M. Goldberg

Sheila has more than 30 years of combined experience representing both claimants and employers in a wide range of workers’ compensation matters. Her defense practice includes representing carriers, third-party administrators, uninsured employers, professional employer organizations, governmental entities and school districts.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Sheila practiced at a prominent Florida law firm where she handled cases involving permanent total disability, catastrophic injuries, toxic exposure, repetitive trauma, and Heart and Lung Bill presumptions. She successfully litigated contested claims on behalf of injured workers, obtained denied indemnity and medical benefits and secured permanent total disability awards. Sheila draws on her early experience representing claimants—which she now considers one of her greatest assets as a defense attorney.

Prior to attending Stetson University College of Law, Sheila worked as a private investigator, performing background checks, surveillance and pretext investigations for insurance carriers.
