Litchfield Cavo Partner is “Freezin’ for a Reason” at Colorado Polar Plunge

For the 11th year, Firm Partner Mitchell H. Frazen is participating in the Windsor, Colorado Polar Plunge. Mitch joins his grandson Logan’s Los Osos Polares team on Saturday, April 18, at Windsor Lake Beach to take the plunge and raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Colorado and its athletes with support from Litchfield Cavo LLP.

Special Olympics Colorado has a $775,000 goal for the 2026 Polar Plunge series, which supports the sports, health, education and athlete leadership programs offered by Special Olympics. Last year, Mitch’s grandson Logan earned the title of “Top Individual Fundraiser” for the Windsor Polar Plunge.

Special Olympics Colorado serves more than 28,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state, and offers 21 sports.

Special Olympics was established in 1969 in the belief that individuals with intellectual disabilities can learn, enjoy and benefit from sports participation. The organization offers year-round training, providing its athletes opportunities to improve physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.
