Litchfield Cavo Supports the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston

Litchfield Cavo LLP is proud to support the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston (“SABA-GB”). SABA-GB is a local chapter of the South Asian Bar Association of North America whose mission is to advance the careers of South Asian lawyers, increase access to justice and serve as a voice for the South Asian community in the Greater Boston area.

SABA-GB programs include: Know Your Rights that focuses on educating community members about their rights in areas such as housing, criminal law and immigration; the Public Interest Fellowship program, designed for law students who are, or will be involved in public interest internships; and the annual Gala & Awards Dinner that brings together members of the South Asian and wider legal community to celebrate members’ accomplishments. The SABA-GB Gala has a history of notable speakers, including Preet Bharara, an attorney, author and former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York; and Neal Katyal, former acting solicitor general of the United States, widely recognized as having argued in the United States Supreme Court against former U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s Muslim travel ban.

Gayatri Deodhar is an attorney in Litchfield Cavo LLP’s Lynnfield, Massachusetts office and has been actively involved with SABA-GB since 2017, previously serving as the organization’s co-chair of their Mentorship Committee. Gayatri focuses her legal practice in construction, employment, premises liability, products liability, personal injury and professional liability.
