Litchfield Cavo’s Connecticut Office Supports Local Food Pantry
Litchfield Cavo LLP’s Simsbury office staff and attorneys recently participated in a Thanksgiving food and toiletry drive, organized by Partner Jacqueline A. Maulucci. The annually held initiative is in benefit of St. Vincent de Paul Place, a nonprofit organization in Norwich, Connecticut, that supports community members who are in need of food, financial assistance and other support.
This year, Jacqueline and her six-year-old daughter used monetary donations to purchase toiletries to make “hygiene bags” that contain soap, shampoo, toothbrush kits, razors and hand sanitizer, among other essential products. The bags and food donations are then delivered to St. Vincent de Paul Place to be distributed to those in need. Since 2013, our Connecticut office has raised thousands of dollars, in addition to countless boxes filled with food, winter coats, clothing and toiletry donations.
St. Vincent de Paul Place is a nonprofit organization that has been serving its community members and the surrounding areas since 1979. They offer food assistance, case management and showers, among other services.
