New York Partner to Co-Chair Bar Association Civil Court Practice Section Event

New York City Partner Dana M. Catanzaro is co-chair of the New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) Civil Court Practice Section’s Annual Dinner on Tuesday, May 9, at The View at The Battery Restaurant. The annual dinner is held to honor individuals in the legal field who have provided exceptional service to the bar and the people of New York County. The event will begin with a social hour, followed by an awards dinner at which time five members of the bench will be recognized. In addition, three New York County clerks will be presented the Melvin C. Levine Distinguished Service Award.

NYCLA is a bar association that operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes with the objective of promoting the public interest by supporting the administration of justice and reforms, ensuring access to justice for all and encouraging diversity throughout the legal profession. The Association’s Civil Court Practice Section works closely with the public and private sectors in dealing with all issues related to the Civil Court.

Dana focuses her defense practice on litigating high-exposure construction cases including those involving accidents and property damage. In addition to her legal practice, Dana is the current president of the Columbian Lawyers Association, First Judicial Department and leads their collaborative CLE program. Furthermore, she is a proud member of the Firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and is an active community and nonprofit volunteer.
