Partner Mitchell Frazen Joins Grandson’s Colorado Polar Plunge

Litchfield Cavo LLP Partner Mitchell H. Frazen joined his grandson Logan and his Lincoln Middle School Unified team for the ninth year to take part in the Windsor Polar Plunge and 5K, benefitting Special Olympics Colorado and its athletes. The event was held on Saturday, April 13 at Windsor Lake Beach in Colorado. This year, Logan raised more than $4,200 for his team and received the “Highest Fundraising Individual” trophy.

Friends, family and colleagues support the Polar Plunge by submitting pledges to individuals or teams. All contributions impact the transformative athletic, health and leadership programs offered by Special Olympics Colorado, an organization that supports more than 23,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state.

Special Olympics was established in 1969 on the belief that individuals with intellectual disabilities can learn, enjoy and benefit from sports participation. The organization offers year-round training, providing its athletes opportunities to improve physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.
