Leroy concentrates his legal practice on insurance defense, as well as both products liability and premises liability. He handles all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial including conducting depositions, attending court appearances, organizing discovery, and drafting motions and pleadings in both state and federal courts. Leroy represents insurance companies in general and professional liability claims, and personal injury cases involving motor vehicle liability, and construction defect litigation. Further, he has experience representing insurance carriers in hurricane-related claims.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Leroy practiced law at various regional firms throughout New Orleans, Louisiana. During this time, he handled breach of contract matters, as well as cases involving first-party property and general casualty matters.

After earning his law degree from Southern University Law Center, Leroy accepted a position as an assistant district attorney at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted various cases ranging from domestic abuse battery to battery of a police officer. Further, he gained valuable legal experience working as an intern for the Honorable Terri F. Love of the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.
