Carol focuses her legal practice in the areas of environmental law and general liability as well as employment, personal litigation and workplace injury. She also has experience handling appellate law cases. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Carol was the managing partner at a law firm that represented mortgage lenders, banks and financial institutions. While there, she focused on lender contract disputes and litigation involving complex subrogation issues.
Carol has prior experience as a law firm partner where she focused on environmental law, educational law and general litigation. She also has experience representing municipalities and police departments in employment and discrimination disputes as well as civil litigation. Carol has diverse litigation experience in the state and federal trial and appellate courts, and has tried cases in state courts and before administrative agencies. In addition, Carol has successfully handled appeals before the United States District Court of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
While attending Widener University School of Law, Carol interned for two years as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert Ellis Francis, J.S.C., in the Gloucester County Superior Court for two semesters.
