Carol focuses her legal practice in the areas of civil litigation and general liability, employment and labor law, and workers’ compensation injuries. Her defense practice includes insurance coverage litigation, homeowners and property policies, automobile liability matters, in addition to bad faith claims and unfair insurance practices. Carol has litigation experience in state and federal courts, has tried cases before administrative agencies, and has handled appeals before the United States District Court of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Carol was the managing partner at a boutique law practice that represented mortgage lenders, banks and financial institutions. At that time she focused on lender contract disputes and complex subrogation litigation issues. Carol’s law experience includes representing municipalities and police departments in employment and discrimination disputes. She also has handled environmental law matters as well as others involving education institutions.

Since 2003, Carol has been an adjunct professor at the Rowan College at Burlington County where she instructs students in Real Property as part of the Paralegal Studies program.
